Vote or Die!

I think everyone would agree with me that “Vote or Die” was probably the greatest (and most effective) slogan in history.

I only thought it would be appropriate to remind everyone of the importance of taking the time to vote. Your voice can and will be heard! And if it is not, you will surely die. So make sure you take time this week and vote.

Until next Wednesday, you can cast your vote at the Wesley Foundation. The candidates are:

The Incumbents – A&W Root Beer, Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, and Diet Dr. Pepper

The Challengers – Sprite and Orange Crush.

After carefully considering the platforms of each, I have made my decision to officially endorse A&W. I know I am not usually very vocal about political opinions, but this is such an important decision for the future good of Wesley that I could not in good conscience keep quiet. A&W offers the most promising potential for future Wesleyites. Nothing else even comes close. So when it comes time for you to cast your vote, make sure you include A&W. Also remember that fewer votes increase the value of each, so you don’t need to vote for all 5. Include one or two other favorite candidates if you must, but make sure you support A&W, and encourage everyone you know to do the same!

I would also like to invite you all to join us this Wednesday, February 27th, 2008, at the Wesley Foundation for the A&W campaign rally. There will be A&W floats, events, music, and special guest speakers, and of course, the Root Beer will flow like wine, whatever that means. So don’t miss out. Come have a good time and learn all about why you too should support A&W with your vote.
